Hello from Huntsville TX. I decided chickens were something I needed so here we are. I grew up with cattle, horses, pigs & dogs but never chickens. Currently we have 10 hens. Supposedly 4 Leghorns & 6 black Sex Link. The white chickens were a gift of 10... alot of Roos came in that set & I have no use for them. The people who got them LOVE them. I am seriously questioning their breed but love them all. That is how I found this site... googled pictures of my girls! Y'all seem great! Glad to be here! Here's some pictures of my girls.

Stop it! No one is ever from Huntsville... I doubt it is appropriate but who is your uncle?!? Muggy is not the right word... It is suffocating at times!

I moved to the area a couple years ago too from South Texas and finally have some land. Chickens are my... slow intro into farm animals. Next up is goats!

Sooo growing up with alot & momma currently having mini donkeys I am content with chickens! So much easier but I am working on the hubby for a piggy! He loves the current girls tho!
