(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
No we have had them in the past and I have always loved my chickens. I got my first chickens when I was about 9 and in 4-H (a very loooooooong time ago)!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I just recently got a new batch of chicks hatched on 5/19, received 26, but lost one the day after they arrived.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Cochin's, Barred Rocks, Ameraucanas, Wyandottes, Salmon Faverolle, and a few assorted banty's

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
gardening, horses, dogs

I am a proud grand parent that loves to spend time with my grandkids. We live just outside San Antonio, Texas on a small piece of acreage and I am working on turning it into a self sufficient homestead. I work at home so I have the luxury of being able to tend to the animals all day.
