Hello From Texas

Hello, I am the proud parent of 3 beautiful Chickens that turned 4 months old today. (2 golden Sex, Liz Lemon and Chunk and 1 speckled Sussex, April) I also have a 6 year old Chihuahua named Chile who thinks the chickens are her children...too cute. This is my first flock of Chickens, so I am really excited to join this forum because I am sure I will have a lot of questions about my girls. I already went through the whole feather picking thing when they were about 4 weeks old, I found that switching to a red light took care of the problem. Other than that, everything seems to be going great (my poor herb garden doesn't like them though, they've pretty much destroyed that).
