Hello from the Arkansas Ozark Mountains!

Hey everyone, I've already been welcomed, but I havn't actually introduced myself. So here goes!
I have 52 chickens, 26 of which are adults, and 26 are 1 mo. old chicks. All the adults and half the chicks (so far) have names. I also have 6 sheep (all named of course), and Caleb, my wonderful 4 month old Border Collie mix pup.
Most of my chickens are mixed breed, but 6 I know are Dominiques.

I love to sew, knit, crochet, cross-stitch, hand embroider, and make cards (greeting, birthday, Anniversary, etc.). I also enjoy baking and cooking.
And I love spending time with my chickens!

I learned about BYC through my research related to chickens. Anytime I would search for this question or that, Backyard Chickens was always one of the first sites that came up. Also, it has been the most helpful and informative.
Thank you so much to all the administrators and those behind the scenes making BYC a safe and clean forum website.

And thanks to all the great welcomers, too.
Thank You!

Hi LittleChooks,
Unfortunately, I now have only 46 chickens. I lost 5 chicks to a raccoon, and today one of my older hens died.
But, that still means I have 46 healthy and happy!
