I've been browsing this website for the last month and it has convinced me to give raising chickens a try. Plan on building a coop this weekend and getting my first half dozen chicks and see how things go... I've enjoyed reading a lot of great advice from the peeps on this site.

thanks for the warm welcome all... I really enjoy reading all the great articles and members blogs on this site. I have already started on my chicken coop well got the spot staked out and the digging has begun. In line with the tradition of the many members here, I've come up with a name for the coop, My family and I have dedcided to call it Camp Pullet. Will have pictures of the process and post it when it's complete.
Anyone that may have some suggestion on where would be good place to order chickens preferable no more than 10 would definately be appreciated...
