Just joined today. We have four hens, doves and rabbits. Always looking for more. Does anyone know which breed makes the least noise... Hens in particular?

and Welcome To BYC! Check out the BYC Breeds section for member reviews on a lot of breeds. In general, the heavy breeds tend to be a little quieter than the light breeds, I find Wyandottes, Orpingtons, Delaware and Sussex pretty quiet.

One of my hens can't stand, her legs are shakes, and her breathing is labored and rapid. Any ideas what the problem could be?
