I'm Denise. My husband and I are retired and pursuing too many fun projects all at once. We are restoring several properties in the little Victorian community of Seaview.
I love my landscape and gardening projects and ordered Indian Runner ducklings to be my slug and snail posse. I was told that hawks and eagles are unlikely to take black ducks and chickens so I specifically wanted that color. The hatchery required me to make a minimum order of 15 so--- we have 17 very active 3 1/2 week old ducklings. While I was on the site, I also thought about how much we enjoyed our Silkies when my daughters were young so I'm also Mom to 7 silly 2 1/2 week old black silkies. We have a pretty good brooding area and the materials to make as near a predator-proof house and run for their permanent home as possible. We have every kind of varmint!
