Welcome to BYC. Good idea naming individual flocks, I do the same. However I dont name individual birds.

Thanks. It's a small flock. I am constrained by local ordinances, so I won't ever have so many I wouldn't be able to identify them. I did have to put an ankle band on one of the leghorns and one of the RIR so I could tell them apart, though.

Wonderful introduction! I love your naming protocol. I tend to try to find names that reflect my chickens' heritage -- French for Faverolles and the Marans, traditional British for the Sussex, for example. You are more creative!!
