My children and I moved from Hollywood,CA to North Carolina 2 years ago and all I have wanted is chickens :) My SO built me a coop last year and a friend gave us 4 hens...just 4!!! lol I got them producing eggs and for Valentines Day the sweet SO ordered me the Surprise Box from Cackle Hatchery. We got 52 and 2 ducks...we lost 2.
Finally! My kids got excited and my 14yo just joined BYC last night and you all welcomed her. She wasn't this excited about the hens and is researching and learning and also a big help.
But...this little man is my business partner...

Welcome!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures that feature our feathered and non feathered friends
