hello from the coast of maine!

i live on the coast of maine.i grew up on a working farm and now my twin brother and i have a nice plave in the wood and are raiseing our 2 indian runner ducks ,who are very goofy lol. 3 guinea hens whom i just adore! they are very tame and let me hold them silly birds and i have a light brahma 2 speckled sussex and one i dont know what bred just that its a roo. they are all 3 months old, plus a cat and a great dane. the birds are free range but they prefer to be with us all the time mostly the guineas

Sorry to ask questions that you may not have answers to, but I was wondering how much you guys know about Mourning Doves?

I don't raise chickens but I do raise some birds. It's my hobby. People bring me birds and I help hatch. Someone earlier brought me a baby Mourning Dove and never came back to take it with. I've been taking care of it for a while and it's not learning to fly. I'm a bit worried. Is this normal?
