Hello from the French Pyrenees

These are my youngest and newest girls Praline, Astrid and Agnes. They've only been here for a month. They are super sweet and cuddly and still make baby Brahma noises

Welcome. We are very much alike. I have 9-hens and 2-roos. I don't want to eat any of my chickens or give away one of the boys. My hens are barred rock, australorps, speckled sussex, delaware and silkies. My boys are both speckled sussex. I made a bachelor pad for my boys. They are pretty happy.
Hi! I'm experimenting with a coop and run only for the boys but I'm too soft hearted to keep them locked up all the time so at the moment they sleep separately but most of them still free-range together during the day. I've got two girls who are apparently extremely alluring, and I keep them separate from the boys all the time now. I'm still sort of vainly hoping I can have one big happy free-ranging flock but yes maybe is boys on their own or creating two flocks, one for the big breeds, and one for the smaller 😊

Do you keep your roos completely separate and out of sight of the girls?
