Hi Everyone! My name is Dawn and I am the proud new mother of almost a week old chicks! This is my first venture into raising chickens and I am very excited. So far, this website has been a major contributor to my pre-investment and current education about what it takes to be successful at this. So glad I found it!! I have 7 little ones brooding away: 2 red and 5 black pullets which I picked up at my local TSC. Today, my husband and I are headed to Indiana's northern Amish area to see if we can buy a quality coop for our little gals to call home once they are ready to venture out into the big world.
