I think we've all been through those bumps in the road you speak of. We learn and keep going, sometimes smarter, but always sad for those we lost. Welcome. Thank you for adopting and caring for the chickens you inherited. I am in upstate, but it seems like the low country has more avian veterinarians.Hi! In 2021, we bought a home here in the lowcountry and it came with chickens. I've never raised them before this. All was going well other than a few bumps in the road, but we hit some issues starting in November 2023. One chicken had some sort of neurological problem - kept her alive for almost 4 months, then had to say goodbye. Now one seems to have fowl pox. Hoping I can learn from the veterans in this community!
