Hello from the Mountains of Idaho!

Welcome to BYC from California wine country in the Western Sierra Foothills! :frow

Gosh, sounds a little bit like me.... Started with 7 pullet chicks and an accidental cockerel, one gal went broody and hatched my very first GrandChick, I bought a small incubator, then another, then a larger one, added a coop or two.... Then moved to the real country two years ago and now I have all sorts of poultry.

It is HARD to let birds go to others unless I know 'em and trust their poultry keeping methods. If I hatched 'em in an incubator, they're my feathered kids, if they hatched under a broody hen, they're my GrandChicks.

I shudder to think what my flock's experiences would have been had I not found BYC!! And now I have bunches of really, really food friends I have never met, here all over the world in BYC!
