Hello, my name is Ann, I'm originally from N.California.
I have had chickens most of my life, except for now.
We are living in the Netherlands in the city and I was looking online to see if I could own chickens where I live now, and saw a post from BYC, and decided to investigate.
My granddaughter has chickens, who are pets, one she has taken to school in her 'pet' backpack, which I had never see before. So I thought maybe I'd get some ideas from people here for gifts for her, that I don't already know about.

Hi Ann, it's nice to have you here with us! If you do a search on Amazon for chicken toys, you'll see ideas such as swings, xylophones, mirrors and such. You also might consider books about raising chickens or one about various chicken breeds (this is a beautiful book: Storey's Illustrated Guide to Poultry Breeds ).
