Hello from the PNW, specifically north of Seattle.

I have been researching chickens actively for about a month now. No clue how I found this site. Looking forward to getting 4 hens early this spring after my wife finally said yes (5 year debate). The small flock will be plenty to keep my family of four in eggs most of the year and provide years of entertainment and education for my young boys (7 and 4).

This is a very informative site. Thanks to all of you that make it so!
