We are a bi-weekly publication covering topics all things poultry and some general agricultural news. The bird flu, cage-free eggs, trade agreements and scientific studies are just some of the subjects we cover in our daily articles posted on our website.
Many of our current subscribers are people who are involved in large broiler houses or research facilities. We are looking to further engage people outside the large commercial sector and reach people who are interested in raising chickens as a small business, hobby or even just as pets. This is why we are here on Back Yard Chickens, to inform a more specific audience about small farm news. We are also here to learn about the differences in free-range chickens and broiler house chickens.
