Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I hope to be able to have some chickens of my own relatively soon. :) I'm wavering between Buff Orpingtons and Rhode Island Reds. I go through 21+ eggs a week, easily, and that's just me! The rest of my family are also egg-eaters. So eggs are pretty important to us and being able to raise our own hens would really help, especially since those Organic eggs cost so much as it is.
