My name's Cat and i live near Birmingham, England with my husband, 15 yr old son, 3 dogs, 2 ducklings and 3 ex battery hens.
We are anxiously awaiting the ducklings to show us that they are girls, like the lady that sold them to us was fairly sure they were, otherwise we won't be able to put them in with the chickens and will have to have a rethink! They are Khaki Campbell X Appleyards and just coming up to 4 weeks old now. If they are girls, they will be called Magrat and Mrs Whitlow, but for now they are just known as the ducks!
The chooks came to live with us a week ago today, straight from the battery farm and we are completely hooked - i already want some more! They are called Esme, Gytha and Agnes. Agnes has the least feathers, but she is the boss!
