Hello from the WNC.

[Tickin' Chickens]

My wife, daughter and I live in the mountains west if Asheville, NC. I've been using BYC for a while now for research and such. I'm a bit if a Luddite, but I figured, if my while can talk to friends with Facebook, maybe I should do some social networking with people who share my interests. My wife is a cheese artisan and a wonderful mother, I manage the farm and work in town. We've got goats, chickens, cats, and a herd dog. Of course the cats and dog stay the same, but with births and sales, the numbers of goats and chickens change every years. We've come to really enjoy and love our chicken, and BYC has been such a great resource since we added chickens to the farm. I'm really excited to actually get involved.
So, Hello to everyone and "keep on cluckin'."
