Hello from TN

Hi! New member here from TN. My family and I moved to TN almost 3 yrs ago and I've been really wanting to get chickens and we finally did it! We are completely new to having chickens and have been wanting them for the fresh eggs. I've been married for 22yrs and hubby and I have two kids, an 8yr old and a 13yr old.
We just got started with 10 babies; 5 Cinnamon Queens and 5 Midnight Majesty's. I found BYC while searching for DIY brooders and coops.
Aside from being a new chicken mommy, I'm also a photographer. I love to get out and hike, kayak, camp, or just hang out with friends and family. Aside from the chicks, we also have 4 (indoor) cats, two dogs, and a Bearded Dragon.
