Hello From UK -- Would someone please look at my silkies :)

hello byc-ers,

I just started to keep chicken in my backgarden.

I bought some of them from the auction and it says they are silkies cross pullets but I'm not sure what it was crossed with or how old they are.. would someone have a look and enlighten me..

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan

Well, they certainly have crests and feathered legs, but will not have silkied feathers. They also do not appear to have black skin. Not sure what else I can tell you.

They are pretty birds but, seem to have very little silkie in them.
