Hi everyone. We live in a small town in upstate New York with all our throw away animals--you know, the strays and the ones from the shelters. We have a Bulldog/Boxer and a Mini Pin/Daschund, 2 cats, one which is blind, and a 16 yr old bird. Have two kid, one in college and one out on her own. And our newest addition---10 baby chicks.
My husband has been asking for years for chickens, and I told him when he built a coop he could have one, so after about 10 years he decided to start building a coop and we now have chicks in a box in my dining room. Cute little buggers, love to watch them play and sleep.
