Hello I am new to chicken raising....In fact I purchased Chicken Raising for Dummies to get the basics! Just added 6 chicks to our household about 4 weeks ago and the kids and I are loving it! I purchased them from the local Tractor Supply Store and they are suppose to be Red Pullets. I found Backyardchickens.com when searching for chicken coop plans and found some really great ideas...thanks!!
