You might say that I live in the suburbs but soon my husband & I will be moving to a very rural area and we can't wait to get started on raising a few chickens on the two acres we will be moving to.
I have never raised chickens before and even after reading books and publications, watching YouTube videos, etc. on the "how to's" I am a bit overwhelmed. I found this forum with doing a Google search for raising chickens and immediately felt this is where I could get the valuable answers to my questions plus maybe meet a few chicken people who may live by me.
I am happy to now be a part of this community and look forward to someday being a knowledgable contributor in one way or another.
