Yet another newbie saying hello

I was SO excited to find out that the city I live in has recently legalized backyard chickens - my mom lives in a farming zone & has wanted chickens as well so now we both get to do it together!! I have 6 kids and they are soo excited to learn with me so that we can be good, knowledgeable keepers of our chickens. Looking forward to learning from others & making new friends here!
