Hello everyone i discovered the joys of chickens last fall and now have a flock of six, two EEs, a RIR, a silver laced wyandotte, a bsl, and a white leghorn all about 8 1/2 weeks old and fighting the urge to get more. I'm starting to wonder if my RIR is a male though it's crest is a lot more red than any of my others. i also have a Saint Bernard, golden retriever, three cats who like to watch my chicks from above,

and amy two year old son who loves chasing them around their run.

How well do the cats and chickens get along. I have 2 cats but I want to get some chickens and I would love to hear about your experiance.
