Thx last batch was lost due to snow storm and power outage

I lost a big batch last season when a drunk driver took out a power pole a couple miles from here. Since then, we've installed a battery back-up from Best Buy, made for computers and such for power outages. Now at 4 in the morning when I hear a faint beeping sound coming from the hatching room, I roll over and sleep even better.

That's 'cause you're smarter than the average bear, Connie. For some reason I can't understand, too many people lose too many hatches due to power failures, when a viable backup system can be as simple as a dc/ac inverter plugged into a car.
