Hi, not great with the introductions but here we go. I'm a SAHM to two girls who are homeschooled. Mr. is a union electrician. I live in a little town south of Winchester, VA, with not a lot going on, though I'd much rather be out on a few acres. My free time is spent playing World of Warcraft, finding things to can or dehydrate, reading and trying to garden.
Just got my first 3 ladies last night. Virginia requires a purchase of 6 but my starter coop/run only has space for 3 so I split them with a friend who wanted those and ducks. So far so good. One seems to have a pasty butt, so I'm trying to get it all wiped off morning and evening. She's pooping fine but her behind is just messy. I put two branches in there for them to walk around on, a celery stalk that was promptly pooed on. I'm the helicopter chicken mom, maybe messing with them TOO much.
