Im kinda a newbie in the chicken world. Grandparents had chickens when I was growing up and I wanted to keep the farm feeling alive. I got my first 8 chickens last year and all but 2 a fox and or coyote got. So this year we got 12 more and learning from mistakes. My 11 year old son loves our chickens and its a great experience for him and me.
