Hi guys :D I'm new here. I'm sixteen years old and have fifteen pullets all ranging from 7-11 weeks. I've been lurking around here for a while and finally decided to make a account! I'm gonna post things on all my babies later.

Ashleyr welcome to the flock, glad you joined us

Welcome to BYC! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

I'm a teen too. Good luck with your pullets! Feel free to ask any questions!

Awesome !! So glad you joined in.. You will love this site, plus make new friends.. We all come here for help, questions ect.. Our teen boys want nothing to do with our flock, except when I make them egg McMufgins, for them and their friends. Brats.. However they love our ducks!!
What breeds? &. :welcome

Well.. a few years ago I had gotten seventeen RIR with my uncle and then I had gotten five Red Sex-links of my own. So my love of chickens started when I was like eleven. Haha! I finally convinced my mom this year to let me get more! And of course I wanted a big variety.
1 White Plymouth Rock- Rye
1 Rhode Island Red- Poppy
1 Buff Orpington- Satana
1 Barred Rock- (not yet named!)
2 Cuckoo Marans- Castor and Pollux
Those six are about 11 weeks old.
2 Barred Rocks- Chip and Pip
These two are 8 weeks old, and my mom named them  She texted me one day while I was at school and was like, "I got you two more chicks!"
7- Easter Eggers
These guys are 7 weeks old. I've yet to name any of them :) I was only supposed to get four but I snuck three extra pass my mother!

And thanks for all the warm welcomes guys :) Makes me feel well.. welcome!

That's a great mixed flock you have. I like the Buff Orpingtons for their beauty and calm, gentle temperament, and for those reasons, I keep a few of them in my flock. I also like the chocolate eggs of the Marans, and the Red Sex Links, of course, are egg laying machines. Good luck with your flock.

Are the Buff Orpingtons skittish when they're young? Because my Orpington is the most skittish out of all my girls.
