We currently have about 80 chickens; bantams, sebrights, Rhode Island reds, Dominiques, sex-links, mixes, etc.
We also have ducks and guineas, and hope to acquire a few peacocks in the future.
Hope to make a few friends on BYC and learn more about our birds! Thanks for having us!

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! Wow! That's a lot of chickens you have there, a lovely mix of birds. I only keep chickens but we do have a couple of guineas down at the farm where I keep the horse. They have a very interesting alarm call I must say. There also used to be some peafowl and they were very beutiful birds. They even hatched a chick one year it was so cute.

Please do drop by the other poultry section for guinea and duck advice, here is the link ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/66/other-backyard-poultry

I'm sure you will make lots of new friends here on BYC, everyone very friendly.

Enjoy BYC :frow

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided join our flock. You have a nice mix of breeds and hybrids. I love sex links as they are hardy, egg laying machines. I've raised them for years (along with dozens of other breeds and hybrids) and they have been my best layers, consistently churning out more than 300 eggs per hen per year. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Are your sex links, Black Sex Links or Red Sex Links?

Welcome to BYC! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

Sounds like you have a large, lovely flock! I hope you are enjoying them. I only keep 5 hens which is nothing compared to your 80! LOL I'm sure you get tons of eggs from all those birds! Yorkshire Coop has given you a good link to check out. Our learning center has a section for other poultry that you may want to check out as well. https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center
