Hello from Virginia

Hi all! After a friend of mine got into backyard chickens, turkeys, and then ducks, she spread the fowl fever to me. I tried to hatch some of her Cayuga and Khaki Campbell eggs but I don’t think they were fertile. I got impatient and ordered a mix of 5 hatching eggs from Etsy which are now sitting in a homemade incubator next to my bed

I’m here for advice, sharing stories, and everything in between. Hopefully one day I’ll have a decent amount of land big enough to join emu, alpaca and horse forums, but for now I can’t wait to hear the rapid floppy pitter patter of little duckling feet!
