(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? - I am definitely new to chickens - I just got 12 babies a week ago!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 12 chickens and I also have 5 dogs!
(3) What breeds do you have? Ameraucana/Easter Egger - 2, Ancona - 2, Buff Orpington -2, Barred Rock - 2, Speckled Sussex - 2, Lavender Orpington - 2
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I am excited to have farm fresh eggs but also excited to have happy hens that will bring a smile to my face.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? We love to travel, watching a good movie and eating!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I am married to my best friend and have a 24 year old son. We live in Woodland, WA and loving love in the PNW. I am a benefits administrator for Banfield Pet Hospital so my love of animals works for me at work too!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
A coworker of mine told me about this site and recommended I check it out - so glad I did!
