Welcome to BYC!!(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? - I am definitely new to chickens - I just got 12 babies a week ago!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 12 chickens and I also have 5 dogs!
(3) What breeds do you have? Ameraucana/Easter Egger - 2, Ancona - 2, Buff Orpington -2, Barred Rock - 2, Speckled Sussex - 2, Lavender Orpington - 2
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I am excited to have farm fresh eggs but also excited to have happy hens that will bring a smile to my face.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? We love to travel, watching a good movie and eating!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I am married to my best friend and have a 24 year old son. We live in Woodland, WA and loving love in the PNW. I am a benefits administrator for Banfield Pet Hospital so my love of animals works for me at work too!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?A coworker of mine told me about this site and recommended I check it out - so glad I did!
