Just brought home 4 new chicks, this weekend. On Saturday we are letting our nephew pick out 2 more to add. I am already addicted.
This started last year with the talk between us (me and husband) and my brother and his wife. They live next door and we wanted to raise chickens for the eggs. And also to have as pets. My husband grew up with chickens so he had a lot of knowledge. I spent the last two weeks on the internet, reading everything I can. I feel I am now "book smart". Now its time to get 'street smart"!
