Hello everyone! I have already found this forum very helpful in answering some of my chicken startup questions and I thought I might as well join since I find myself coming back here more and more and I know I will have more and more questions as a new chicken keeper. 
I have 16 hens and 1 rooster. The flock consistes of 2 black australorps, 2 australorp x (pullets), 8 white leg horn x, 1 gold sexlink, 2 copper marans, 1 speckled sussex and a Bearded Buff-Laced Polish Rooster (hoping to find a home with a breeder). As I get pictures up I would love to see if my guesses on my poss. chicken breeds are correct. I aquired them from my aunt who was moving and couldn't keep them. I couldn't be happier with my ladies who all came friendly and ready to lay!
