Hello from waaaayyyy South Florida!

I am finally a legal member of this website! I have used this website and the help of some of your posts, to assist me in starting to raise my FIRST chickens.

I have 2 Buff Orpingtons and 2 Americaunas. Oh my, what fun! I have had the chicks since day-old. I have all hens ( I already have 2 alarm clocks, no need for roosters). They are 10 weeks old now.

The Americaunas are the 'alarms' of the 4, and run for the hills screaming, and the Buffs run to see what is going on. Silly!

Thanks to all, thus far! Things have been very fun, exciting, entertaining, and relaxing. I invite a couple of close friends over in the evening when the girls run, and we have "chicken happy hour" in the evening.
