I've been visiting this sight since long before I joined. BYC has been a great help to me. I'm 50 yrs. old. I've had chickens off & on for the past 30 yrs. But they were always chickens passed onto me from someone needing to part w/them. I loved them all, but often felt regretful that the bonding didn't come easier. Last month (May) I hatched out via an incubator, 14 chicks...3 of which didn't survive. But all of the 11 that did are growing & thriving. And I feel I have BYC in great part to thank. I'm in love eleven x's over. I'm tickled to be a part of this online community. Best wishes to all you other chicken lovers. Take that husband! I am not alone!

Oh no...you are not alone! Hey, not saying your old...just saying, there is an Old Folks Home though.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. A lot of us were lurkers before joining.) Congratulations on a successful hatch. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your chicks.

Always hatch and raise chicks! I'm glad to hear you are enjoying them! I understand your regret of not taming them when they were young enough. I have two hens that could have been a lot more friendly if I spent more time taming them. But oh well! LOL

We are so glad you joined our community! Feel free to ask any questions. Can't wait to chat more with you.
