I am just getting into having backyard chickens. Ia am sop excited. I have always wanted chickens.
Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes, I am new. I am getting them next month.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I will have 6 chickens.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have Rhode Island Reds
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I have always wanted to be more self-sufficient.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I have lots of other hobbies. I love to knit, read, and garden to name a few. I would love to live a bigger piece of land and have more space to raise more chickens and have a big garden.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a husband of 16 years, two furbabies, both rescue cocker spaniels mixes. One is more cocker than the other. I have been a teacher for 12 years and I love it!
