Hello everyone. New chicken owner from the great state of West Virgina. I have wanted chickens for a while and finally said I am going to do it. I scrounged some ideas from the site and collected wood from work and other places and finally finished up about a week ago. I have had my flock for about 3 weeks now and they are getting BIG..... I love it. I bought 2 Buff Orpington
2 Bared Rocks
2 Silver Lace Wyandotte
2 Rhode Island Reds
2 Black Australorp (one of which died)
They are all starting to get there own personalities and it cracks me up. Gotta say not a huge fan of the Silver Lace but we shall see how they grow up. I spend as much time with them as I can and do lots of hand feeding to promote a bond.
