Hello from WI!

We are new to chickens but are excited to start the journey. We have 6 kids, so we got six chicks. Then I felt left out so I went back and got one too!

We have a Buff Orpington, a Barred Rock, a Black Australorp, an Olive Egger, and an Easter Egger (all pullets) and 2 straight run silkies (dna results next week!)

Our chicks are 4 weeks old and still live in a huge bin in the garage.

Our coop is ready, just have to finish the run!

We also have a 3 year old yellow lab who is very sweet with the birds!

I'm from WI too! Welcome we've made it through 3 winters so far with and unheated coop and no casualties (well we had one a few weeks ago, but it wasn't winter related). Enjoy your chicks
