Hello there! I'm obviously new to this site and new to chickens! 
I recently incubated 7 eggs with my preschool daycare class and ended up hatching 3 around memorial day! It was quite fun and will definitely do it again. I did keep the chicks and up until recently I have only 1 left. My 7lb dog thought he was playing and killed 2. 
I love animals more than people I think which is why I probably took it as hard as I did. Anyway I will be posting a pic soon of my little one because I'm unsure of gender and breed! Thanks!
