Hi everyone,
my names Olivia and well, I'm new! lol
im not very good at starting off these kinda things so i'll just give you a few answers
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Kinda! I had a pet chicken when i was younger and farm sat for a lot of people who had chickens, i know basic care and first aid, not so good with breeds lol
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Only 6! Im in the process of building my coop and run and trying pretty hard to hold back on buying chickens!
(3) What breeds do you have?
Im not 100% thats partly why i joined! I hope someone can let me know what my beautiful girls are
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
A mix of google, Facebook, and pinterest
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I show both rabbits and horses! My lion heads i show, breed, and do hoping/agility with. Then my angoras for fiber. As far as my horses go, i have 12 lol and do pretty much everything (i really love cross training) but my main focus has been barrel racing and dressage
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My fiancé and I live in SW WI on our 20 acre farm. We have 4 chihuahua's that are pretty much our children (and they run the farm), and a fair share of kitties! I got a bad head injury last may (2015) so i currently can't work a "normal" job so i nanny and take care of the farm and critters!
So theres not much left about me! Like i said ^^^ Im currently building my coop, so I'm super excited about that and I'm sure i'll end up sharing pictures! Thanks for reading! Cant wait to chat with you all!
