Uh... return the coop and build something better??
You need 16 sq feet of space in the coop (not including the nest box area, and you only need one for 4 hens).
You need about 60 sq ft of space in the run for 4 hens.
Does the coop you bought provide that?

Yes, we did some research before and bought a coop that will fit our chickens. We will be putting up the run today- 10x10 chain link. We will have a cover over top.
just researching what to use- sand,shavings, natural method for the run! So exciting!!

Our new babies have arrived! Not the best pictures yet. One Maran/Orpington mix, one lavender Orpington and two Mille fleur d’uccles!
