Hi All, Not new to the forum but had a bit of a break as we moved from city chicken owners to country chicken owners. Went from 4 hens to 30 and loving it even more! Through last years pandemic we sold enough eggs to pay our taxes!! Now this year we are heading into winter with 2 horses, 29 chickens, 5 smelly ducks, 2 dogs and a fig tree! Currently moving the chickens out of the horse barn ( too dusty for the horses) and into a new coop where they will free-range and help with the fly population. Here we go!….I’ve included a few farm pics as well….
My birds don't even give the flies a look. I had a mite issue and was treating for mites and to my delight it also eliminated the flies. I also use sticky fly rolls. Have to be careful where I put them as they are very sticky. Good luck with your farm and have fun...
