Hello, I am a newbie to the site and to raising chickens.
My family and I are just getting going. I am building a coop this week (if I can decide on a design and find plans may just 'wing' it)

. I am also looking at getting 3 chicks this week so we can get the ball rolling. I am actually the most excited in the entire family to get these chickens...
Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!
