Hello Everyone,
Roughly 2 years ago, my husband and I bought our first house.
At the time, we simply thought we were investing in ourselves, providing a nice yard for our at the time 5 year old boy...Well, it has turned into a situation of, I had better not say I like something or my husband will bring it home. This is how I have ended up with 3 hives full of buzzing bees, a brand new motorcycle and 3 beautiful chickens...
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We are completely new to chickens, we brought home three 1 day old chicks mid december.
(2) What breeds do you have?
We thought we had purchased 2 Ameraucanas and a Cuckoo Maran, we have what I believe are 1 Easter Egger, 1 Barred Plymouth Rock and 1 (orange partridge?) Leghorn.

(4) What are some of your other hobbies?
Beekeeping, motorcycle riding, gardening, jewelry making, cooking and if you ask my son building legos.
(5) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Since the bringing home of the chicks, I have become obsessed with chickens. I love the girls, TigerLily, Sofia and Lola. Lola the B.Rock is the sweetest thing in the world, she follows me, talks to me, gets mad if I don't pick her up...We have a 16 year old cat Figaro.
