my home made incubator first hatch. i am very happy about that. this is a champ which i dont know the correct date to put him in incubator but after precious 4 dead in shell i kept eye on him. when i came back home after my job i saw little movement of egg and chirpping of chick i decided to break the shell because the last four i missed. i did that very carefully and slowly the champ came out and still in incubator. can i give him water and feed?

Wait 24 hours after hatching to feed and water. I am glad you got a chick. Is there more eggs to hatch?

i like your chicks. my chicks which i bought from neighborhood in 10 dollars. they are one week old. so i made a brooder for them. and i bought a another 2 golden heavy cochin and 2 black heavy cochin in just 9 dollars. now i have 9 chicks include of mine hatched chicks and still four eggs in incubator of java rooster fighter. the day after tommorow the will be 21 day to see.

Most days are not so bad. Tell me about your birds. My favorelles laid their first egg today. My serama should be hatching tomorrow and the next day. I've a tiny trio of serama in the kitchen. One pullet has six tiny eggs in a nest; a cereal bowl.
