Hello! Hatching 4 duck eggs

Hi all,
I am in the process of hatching a few duck eggs, and at starting this thread to document along the way. Also starting it to get input on any questions along the way. My eggs are at least 23 days old.

I am actually using a heat lamp.

I do have one egg that got cracked. Here’s a picture of it. It did not look like this yesterday when I candled it. Does it look like it’s dead?

I think it is the right temp. I have hatched eggs this way before.
